Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Officer to join our team at one of our leisure centres. As a Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of operational staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the leisure centre, including pool operations, customer service, and facility maintenance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to drive growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the centre remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements

  • RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field, such as customer service or team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for the leisure industry and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
