Duty Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Officer to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our leisure centre, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of lifeguards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of operational staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure the leisure centre is run to the highest standard, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
- Contribute to the business and budgetary performance of the centre, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Develop and maintain a passion for the leisure industry, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Experience of problem-solving, customer service, and staff management is essential, as is the ability to work flexibly with a level of autonomy and decision-making confidence.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience of working in a leisure environment, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
- A passion for the leisure industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
