Wellbeing Services Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Wellbeing Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive welfare and wellbeing support services to students on a range of issues, including mental health, academic pressures, and personal concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full case load of student wellbeing cases, providing individualized support and guidance to students in need.
- Collaborate with the Junior and Middle Common Room representatives to ensure effective communication and support for students.
- Work closely with the porters and Junior Deans to provide a seamless support service to students.
- Develop and implement wellbeing interventions and activities to promote student wellbeing and resilience.
- Provide signposting and follow-up support to students, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and services.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of student wellbeing and mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive student information.
Working Hours:
The post-holder will be expected to work such hours as are reasonably required to carry out their duties to the satisfaction of the Head of Student Wellbeing. This may include some evenings and occasional weekend working.
