Regional Sales Director

My client, a successful and expanding business, is seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join their growing team as an Area Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within a designated geographic area, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to client sites in designated territory to meet with clients and build strong relationships.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and drive revenue growth.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with senior management to define sales goals and targets, and create and manage territory plans to maximise market penetration.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met, and identify and address potential challenges within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up, and provide bespoke product training to the right individual.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in plumbing, heating, or construction sales management, and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with an analytical mindset.
