Fleet Service Advisor Job Description

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Service Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality fleet repairs and maintenance services to our vehicle fleet and equipment holdings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Fleet Operations Manager and workshop supervisor to ensure efficient and effective fleet repairs and maintenance.
  • Liaise with internal customers to arrange Service Level Agreements meetings and ensure service provision and service standards are met.
  • Ensure all Council vehicle and equipment assets are recorded correctly in the vehicle and equipment database.
  • Act as the first point of contact for workshop supplier queries and service queries to the fleet department and workshops.
  • Complete all scheduling for vehicles, ride-on equipment, and all parks equipment, ensuring internal customers receive timely notification of inspection, service, and MOT appointments.
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure MOTs and bookings align with MOT/service bookings in the fleet workshop.

Essential Requirements:

  • Substantial experience working in a fleet/workshop environment.
  • Substantial experience working with a fleet/workshop database and maintaining detailed records.
  • Proven experience developing quality systems to ensure efficient support to internal and external customers.
  • Experience in a commercial vehicle environment.
  • Experience dealing with and monitoring external suppliers.
  • Competency using IT systems, especially in a workshop environment.
