Sustainable Forestry Solutions Manager

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable forestry practices and enhancing ecosystem health. This role is pivotal in shaping our strategies and engaging with various stakeholders to drive impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and refine comprehensive strategies to assess and mitigate supply chain effects on forests and ecosystems.
- Partner Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders involved in forestry and ecosystem management.
- Business Growth: Work closely with business development teams to identify opportunities and foster growth in sustainable practices.
- Project Oversight: Liaise with global data teams to ensure effective communication of project needs and monitor progress.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial aspects including income tracking, contract management, expense monitoring, and reporting.
- Product Innovation: Enhance and sustain our product offerings related to forest solutions.
- Industry Participation: Engage actively in industry forums and events to represent our interests and share insights.
- Impact Reporting: Develop internal and external communications to highlight the effectiveness and impact of our initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for environmental stewardship and practical problem-solving skills. A genuine interest in forestry, agriculture, and community education is essential. Candidates should believe in leveraging technology and partnerships to foster a sustainable future for land use.
- Proven analytical skills and a methodical approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing complex projects in diverse environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, forestry, or engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including product development and engagement with various sectors.
- Experience in project management with a focus on sustainability outcomes.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Valid work authorization is necessary.
- Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.
- This is a full-time, open-ended position.
