About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and inspirational Catering Manager to join our award-winning catering department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our catering services to improve patient care and staff wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of staff at our main central cook chill food production facility, meal regeneration, and retail catering
  • Develop and implement new technologies to transform our catering services and achieve efficiencies
  • Manage budgets, staff, and resources to deliver high-quality catering services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change and improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or combination of training and experience in hospitality, food and nutrition, or management and leadership
  • Level 4 Food Safety qualification and understanding of current food law
  • Significant catering management experience in a large, complex organization
  • Proven track record in managing operational staff and driving change
