We are seeking a highly experienced and inspirational Catering Manager to join our Transformation Unit team. As a key member of our catering department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our food services and enhancing the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams of staff at our main central cook chill food production facility, meal regeneration, and retail catering.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve catering services, including the introduction of new technologies and processes.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staff to achieve operational excellence and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of catering services with other hospital departments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems, such as ISO9001:2015.
- Relevant degree or combination of training and experience in hospitality, food and nutrition, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing operational staff and leading teams to achieve results.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to negotiate, communicate effectively, and inspire others.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, food safety controls, and health and safety protocols.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed decisions.
