About the Role

The Catering Supervisor will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of the catering department, ensuring food and service standards are always of the highest quality.
  • Supervise front of house operations, including customer service and cash handling.
  • Support the Chef Manager in ensuring presentation, portioning, staffing, and costings comply with the agreed budget.
  • Place online orders, accept invoices, and manage petty cash.
  • Support the Chef Manager in training and developing the catering team to ensure continuous learning and development.
  • Maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout working hours, dealing with customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site.
  • Uphold health and safety values, ensuring a secure and safe environment.
  • Represent the catering and operations teams, always thinking of client satisfaction.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with catering experience and a positive attitude. You should have a good understanding of food hygiene principles and be able to follow instructions while making your own decisions for the best interest of the customer.
