About the Role
The Catering Supervisor will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the catering department, ensuring food and service standards are always of the highest quality.
- Supervise front of house operations, including customer service and cash handling.
- Support the Chef Manager in ensuring presentation, portioning, staffing, and costings comply with the agreed budget.
- Place online orders, accept invoices, and manage petty cash.
- Support the Chef Manager in training and developing the catering team to ensure continuous learning and development.
- Maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout working hours, dealing with customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site.
- Uphold our Health and Safety values, ensuring a secure and safe environment.
- Represent the catering and operations teams, always thinking of client satisfaction.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude, who is passionate about creating great food and delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Catering experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Good understanding of food hygiene principles.
