Job Title: Senior CRM Manager Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CRM Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will be responsible for leading our CRM operations and ensuring the effective use of our Braze platform.

About the Role:

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to work with a UK-based utility company that prioritizes hybrid working options and has an office in central London. As a Senior CRM Manager, you will have accountability for Braze, including owning and optimizing data feeds, re-contracting forecasting, platform functionality, and usage. You will also lead on CRM Ops best practice, data strategy, and platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on CRM Ops best practice, data strategy, and platform strategy
  • Own and continually optimize data feeds in and out of the Braze system
  • Re-contract forecasting, platform functionality, and usage
  • Collaborate with CRM Leads on designing and building automation programs and ad-hoc campaigns
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to shape campaigns and comms agendas
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure journey consistency across end-to-end journeys
  • Collaborate with Data and Creative teams to execute campaigns
  • Serve as a CRM Ops specialist and mentor to the extended Partner Marketing team
Requirements:
  • Significant experience using a major CRM solution, ideally Braze
  • Very good knowledge of at least one scripting language (ideally Liquid)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS coding for email comms
  • Good understanding of data flows and data infrastructure
  • Experience using APIs/real-time events data to retrieve information and use in segmentation or personalisation
  • Very good knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes and technologies
  • Previous user of Braze and data integration
  • Previous use of Postman for Braze testing and JSON coding
  • Knowledge of wider utilities/financial service/consumer issues and products
  • Recent experience of working in a Financial Services / Utilities company
  • Ability to conduct full QA on email or similar
  • Good SQL skills for data validation and QA
  • Experience with various data transfer and configuration file formats
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Awareness of data security and privacy requirements
