We are seeking a talented individual to join our Infrastructure Software team as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and driving them in specific strategic segments. You'll work closely with marketing on Market Development Funds (MDF) and collaborate with the wider sales organization on specialized opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable market share growth by executing the Business Unit strategy effectively.
  • Negotiate key tenders and large deals with a comprehensive understanding of assigned Vendor's product/service line.
  • Optimize results by driving sales from the agreed vendor portfolio, including identifying new vendors, onboarding them, and implementing other business development initiatives.
  • Develop successful proposals by gathering information from customers and planning an effective approach that demonstrates a clear understanding of their requirements.
  • Take solution and service offerings to market, promoting value propositions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing on MDF strategies to support vendor growth objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue specialized opportunities within assigned segments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the IT landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of success.
