Role Overview:

Teaching Personnel is excited to present a unique opportunity for a dedicated Individualized SEMH Support Specialist. This role focuses on providing tailored support to a student in need, fostering an environment conducive to growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a strong, trusting relationship with the student to facilitate effective support.
  • Collaborating with educators and SENCO to create and implement personalized support strategies.
  • Encouraging positive behavior and emotional resilience through guidance and support.
  • Delivering customized interventions to address specific SEMH requirements, both within and outside the classroom setting.
  • Tracking student progress and modifying approaches to ensure ongoing development.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children facing SEMH challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Flexibility in adapting support methods to meet individual student needs.

A positive mindset and the ability to remain resilient in challenging circumstances.
