Job Title: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant - SEMH Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) team, you will work closely with students who require additional support to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing individualized educational programs, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Transport students to vocational college courses and educational visits, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Prepare materials and equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths, Grade C/4 or above
  • Driving License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
