Associate in Institutional Marketing

The Institutional Marketing division at J.P. Morgan is integral in collaborating with various business units, serving as a central hub to leverage the extensive resources of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's marketing team. This role is essential for coordinating diverse teams and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the organization.
As an Associate or Vice President within our Institutional Marketing team, your primary responsibility will be to devise and implement strategies for engaging prospects and clients in sectors such as Pensions, Insurance, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Consultants. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure our leading thought leadership, digital platforms, campaigns, and events effectively communicate our value propositions. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the broader EMEA marketing teams in achieving their objectives across the region. This position plays a crucial role in the expansion of our business and enhancing our brand's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, drives, and executes the institutional marketing strategy for specific segments, collaborating with distribution, product, and content teams to manage and deliver digital initiatives, events, campaigns, and thought leadership communications.
- Creates and presents strategic briefs, clearly articulating the complex challenges faced by institutional clients to stakeholders and colleagues.
- Oversees and curates key components of our content across our digital platforms.
- Utilizes data analytics to assess performance, derive insights, and formulate hypotheses for enhancements.
- Engages with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure institutional marketing complies with regulatory and internal standards.
- Proven experience in marketing with a successful track record; experience in financial services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of institutional clients and their investment cycles, with the ability to quickly grasp J.P. Morgan Asset Management's offerings to these clients.
- Proficient in building relationships within a large, matrixed organization.
- Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent project management skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities, communicating progress, and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Strong digital, data, and reporting capabilities, particularly in interpreting data to inform future strategies.
- Quick to understand J.P. Morgan's business model and its unique position as a brand leader, with an intuitive grasp of brand alignment.
