Are you passionate about video content creation?

We are seeking a Creative Video Content Producer to join our dynamic team at Bauer Media Group.

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Video and will be responsible for overseeing all phases of video production. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of video production processes, with a strong emphasis on post-production and a keen interest in music and entertainment culture.

As a proficient editor, you will have extensive experience with the Adobe Suite and a talent for crafting engaging video narratives. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our social media team to produce and optimize captivating video content tailored for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Video and Digital Editors to ensure brand consistency in all video projects.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the video editing workflow.
  • Create content that resonates with our audio brand audiences, tailoring strategies for each social media platform.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in social media video editing.
  • Edit both short and long-form videos for our audio brand social media accounts and YouTube channel.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into the video production process.
  • Manage video projects, directing content creation both in-studio and on location.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, aligns with brand standards, and appeals to our target audience.
  • Develop and execute video distribution strategies to maximize audience reach.
  • Maintain video equipment, ensuring all gear is operational and reporting any issues.
  • Work with teams to implement digital best practices, creating eye-catching graphics and compelling video edits.
  • Assume the role of director or producer when necessary, ensuring high-quality video delivery within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with social teams to identify online trends and cultural conversations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of camera, sound, and lighting techniques.
  • Proven experience in video editing and shooting, with a solid grasp of social media platforms from a video perspective.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere.
  • Ability to work with multi-track audio.
  • Familiarity with aspect ratios and video encoding formats.
  • Proficient in sound design.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and audience insights.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Sound editorial judgment and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and direct talent.
  • Adaptable and open to change.
  • Comfortable working on Mac systems.
  • Experience in storyboarding and scripting.
  • Knowledge of media law and compliance standards.
  • Awareness of health and safety protocols during shoots.
  • Graphic design skills, including proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects, are a plus.
  • Photography skills are advantageous.
  • Quick-thinking and able to maintain composure under pressure.
  • A collaborative team player who can see projects through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of analytics and how to create engaging content across platforms, focusing on audience growth and engagement.
