We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Creative Video Content Producer to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Bauer Media Group. This role is based in our vibrant media environment, where creativity meets innovation.

In this position, you will report directly to the Digital Editor and will be responsible for producing engaging video content that resonates with our audience. We seek a skilled Video Producer who possesses a comprehensive understanding of video production processes, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for post-production work.

Collaborating with a talented group of professionals, you will have the autonomy to conceptualize and develop captivating video projects that set social media benchmarks.

As a proficient editor, you will manage shoots efficiently and work with diverse talent, ensuring high-quality output.

A deep understanding of Bauer's Scottish radio brands and their target demographics on social media is essential, along with a solid grasp of entertainment and football culture, particularly within the Scottish context.

Your creative flair and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in bringing video ideas to fruition.

You will also be adept at tailoring video content for various social media platforms, recognizing the unique requirements of each.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting, producing, and disseminating content that is accurate, aligned with our brand, and appealing to our audience.
  • Staying informed about the latest trends in social media video editing and popular culture.
  • Editing both short and long-form videos for our social media channels and video platforms.
  • Supporting the social media team in content distribution and scheduling across various platforms.
  • Overseeing video production projects in studio settings and on location.
  • Managing video equipment, ensuring all gear is functional and reporting any issues.
  • Collaborating with teams to implement digital best practices, creating engaging graphics, eye-catching edits, and compelling thumbnails that enhance viewer engagement.
  • Assuming the role of director or producer when necessary to guarantee the highest quality of video content delivered on time.
  • Assisting with digital and design tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of camera operation, sound, and lighting techniques.
  • Proven experience in video editing and shooting, with a solid understanding of all major social media platforms from a video perspective.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and a passion for storytelling.
  • Significant proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and guide presenting and guest talent.
  • A thorough understanding of Bauer's Scottish brands, along with knowledge of Scottish football and audience insights.
  • Familiarity with all social media platforms.
  • Skills in sound design.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in using Mac systems.
  • Experience in storyboarding and scripting.
  • Awareness of media regulations and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols during shoots.
  • General graphic design and animation skills are highly advantageous, including knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Photography skills.
  • A proactive, dedicated, and quick-thinking approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working with stakeholders to see projects through to completion.
