Sales Representative Liquid Handling

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Representative to cover the UK & Ireland territory, representing our Liquid Handling portfolio of instruments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling our products to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic biology institutions, with a focus on genomics and screening labs.
Key Responsibilities- Sell our Liquid Handling instruments to customers in the UK & Ireland territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers
- Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads
- Provide quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up with the purchasing team
- Transition to the post-sales installation and support teams
- Travel a minimum of 50% of the time to attend trade shows and visit customer sites
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic biology institutions, preferably in genomics or screening labs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical interest and savvy, with the ability to quickly learn technical products
- Computer skills are a must
- Responsive and organized, with a strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a ability to work independently
- Able to travel frequently, with a strong preference for candidates with a degree in Biology, other life science, or Engineering
