Sales Representative Liquid Handling
FORMULATRIX is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to cover the UK & Ireland territory, representing our Liquid Handling portfolio of instruments. The ideal candidate will be based in the Birmingham area, Cambridge, or London triangle area.
This role requires a hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable making cold calls, learning technical details of our products, and delivering technical solo demonstrations to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the UK & Ireland territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer base.
- Provide technical product training and demonstrations to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.
- Travel a minimum of 50% of the time to attend trade shows and visit customer sites.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the life science industry, preferably in genomics or screening labs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn complex products.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
