Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be essential in managing and optimizing project expenditures from start to finish, ensuring maximum value while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.

Daily Duties:

  • Direct cost planning and commercial oversight throughout all project phases.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans.
  • Supervise procurement activities, including the preparation and assessment of tenders.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, value management, and cost control measures.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Track project finances, manage changes, and produce detailed financial reports.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
  • Guide and mentor junior quantity surveyors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for you if:

  • You possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • You have substantial experience as a quantity surveyor, preferably in a main contracting setting.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of construction processes, contract law, and industry standards.
  • You have a proven history in cost planning, budget oversight, and financial reporting.
  • You are skilled in utilizing industry-specific software and tools.
  • You exhibit excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are detail-oriented with outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You have leadership experience and can effectively mentor junior team members.
