As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Kier Group, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing project expenditures from the initial stages through to completion, ensuring optimal value while maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cost estimation and commercial oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments, value management, and cost control activities.
  • Negotiating and managing agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitoring financial aspects of projects, managing changes, and preparing comprehensive financial documentation.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to drive project success.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, contract law, and industry standards.
  • A proven history in cost estimation, budget oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
