As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Kier Group, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing project expenditures from the initial stages through to completion, ensuring optimal value while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cost estimation and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments, value management, and cost control activities.
  • Negotiating and managing agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitoring financial aspects of projects, managing changes, and preparing comprehensive financial documentation.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations as well as quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders to drive project success.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, contract law, and industry standards.
  • A proven history in cost estimation, budget oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
