Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing project expenditures from start to finish, ensuring value for investment while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.

Daily Duties:

  • Direct cost planning and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans.
  • Supervise procurement activities, including tender preparation and assessment.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, value management, and cost control procedures.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Track project finances, manage variations, and compile detailed financial reports.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
  • Guide and mentor junior quantity surveyors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
What We Seek:

This position is ideal for you if:

  • You possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • You have significant experience as a quantity surveyor, preferably in a main contracting setting.
  • You are well-versed in construction processes, contract law, and industry regulations.
  • You have a proven history in cost planning, budget oversight, and financial reporting.
  • You are skilled in utilizing industry-specific software and tools.
  • You exhibit excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • You are detail-oriented with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have leadership experience and can effectively mentor junior team members.
