Job Title: Regional Account Manager

Location: Field based - Midlands

Department: Commercial

Line Manager: National Accounts Manager

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5hrs per week)


Purpose of the Role


ZEISS Vision Care is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive revenue growth from an existing National Account, ensuring the company's ambitious growth strategies are achieved.


Key Responsibilities


  • To execute a business/training plan across defined territory in line with ZEISS Vision Care budget and growth expectations.
  • To build and maintain successful relationships with key customers and manage their performance.
  • To deliver exceptional account management, influencing, and training skills, and demonstrate in-depth ZEISS product and market knowledge.
  • To develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including Optoms, DOs, Optical Consultants, and internal teams.
  • To lead projects with internal bodies, including Supply, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, to deliver budgeted activities on time and in full.
  • To utilize Commercial dashboard/reporting to identify sales/product trends at customer level, ensuring maximum opportunity is maximized.
  • To maintain and uphold ZEISS Vision Care values in all dealings with customers and colleagues.


Required Knowledge and Experience


  • Proven academics: Degree qualified or equivalent e.g. FBDO
  • Proven track record of success and ROI in terms of sales and revenue generation
  • Optical dispensing experience
  • Optical retail sales experience
  • Demonstrable optical training experience
