About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager and deputising for them in their absence. You will be responsible for leading your team to provide exceptional, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Lead your team to provide person-centred support to individuals
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals
  • Develop and implement professionally designed support plans
  • Manage staff performance, training, and appraisals
Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the service
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
