About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and leading your team to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Manager in their absence and deputise for them as needed.
  • Lead your team to provide person-centred support, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we support.
  • Develop and implement professionally designed support plans that promote independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Work in partnership with the individuals we support, their families, and external agencies to champion skilful interactions and person-centred planning.
  • Manage staff performance, training, and appraisals to ensure the team is equipped and motivated to deliver high-quality support.
Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
  • Experience in management, preferably in a disability support setting.
  • Positive and reliable outlook, with flexibility to service requirements.
  • Ability to take direction from the Registered Manager and work collaboratively as part of a team.
