About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and deputising for them in their absence. You will lead your team to provide exceptional, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Lead your team to provide person-centred support to individuals
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals, while promoting independence and choice
  • Develop and implement support plans that improve the quality of everyday life
  • Act as a role model and mentor to the team, facilitating collaborative working and sound judgment
  • Manage staff performance, training, and appraisals to ensure the team is equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional support

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or working towards it
  • Management experience in a similar setting
  • Positive and reliable outlook, with flexibility to service requirements
  • Ability to take direction from the Registered Manager
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment (advantageous)
