Position Overview

ESG Flo is on the lookout for a committed ESG Software Onboarding Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to facilitate the onboarding process for clients and serve as a vital link between client insights and our Product teams. You will be recognized as an ESG Flo authority for clients throughout their onboarding journey. This position presents a unique opportunity to influence our customer success strategies significantly.

Founded in 2022, ESG Flo is an AI-driven data management and reporting platform designed to automate the ESG data collection process and deliver real-time insights into ESG factors. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through their sustainability initiatives. For new clients, you will act as the primary contact, overseeing their onboarding from initiation to completion. For existing clients, you will serve as a dedicated liaison, addressing their concerns, providing training, identifying areas for enhancement, and assisting with carbon footprint assessments. You will also collaborate with the Product team by relaying client feedback and helping prioritize new features.

Specific Duties Include:

  1. Client Onboarding & Management
  • Lead weekly meetings with clients to understand their workflows, data challenges, and how ESG Flo can assist.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients on ESG Flo's Scopes 1, 2, 3, and Compliance Reporting Platforms, including data organization and follow-ups.
  • Explore growth opportunities with prospective clients.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for new clients and their teams during the onboarding phase.
  • Collaborate with client Sustainability Teams to gain insights into ESG topics.
  1. Collaboration with Customer Success Team
  • Work directly with the Head of Customer Success on account management to ensure effective client relationships.
  • Partner with fellow customer success data analysts to enhance client onboarding and data organization.
  • Ensure the team meets all deadlines for client onboarding.
  • Maintain high standards of transparency and accuracy throughout the onboarding process.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors regarding ESG Flo's platforms.
  1. Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
  • Provide client feedback to the Product team, assist in feature prioritization, and act as a liaison between clients and the Product team.
  • Report issues to the engineering team for resolution.
  • Manage customer bug tickets and keep clients updated based on engineering communications.
  1. Data Analytics Support for Current Clients
  • Work with clients to tackle key challenges in data collection and standardization.
  • Utilize Excel and other data analysis tools to help clients identify significant changes to historical data or current calculations that may impact reported figures.
  • Assist clients with various data analytics, including carbon footprint calculations.
  1. Additional Opportunities: Ad Hoc Sustainability Consulting
  • This role may include occasional consulting, such as assisting clients with small projects like water footprint analysis or target tracking.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Excel, data organization, and project management.
  • Background in client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and the ESG landscape.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degrees in environmental science or sustainability, or relevant experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the software startup ecosystem is a plus.

This position includes a 90-day evaluation period during which you will work with the team to define your objectives. Your performance will be assessed based on these objectives at the end of the evaluation period.
