Position Overview

ESG Flo is in search of a committed ESG Software Onboarding Specialist. In this capacity, you will work closely with our Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to facilitate client product onboarding and serve as a conduit for client feedback to the Product teams. You will act as an ESG Flo authority for clients throughout their onboarding journey. This position represents a unique opportunity to influence our customer success strategies significantly.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through their sustainability initiatives. For new clients, you will be the primary contact, overseeing their onboarding from initiation to completion. For existing clients, you will serve as a dedicated resource, addressing their challenges, answering inquiries, providing training, identifying improvement opportunities, and assisting with carbon footprint assessments. You will also collaborate with the Product team by relaying client feedback and helping prioritize new features.

Specific Duties Include:

  1. Client Onboarding & Management
  • Conduct and lead weekly meetings with clients to understand their processes, data challenges, and how ESG Flo can assist.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients on ESG Flo's Scopes 1, 2, 3, and Compliance Reporting Platforms, including data organization and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with prospective clients to explore mutual growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for new clients and their teams throughout the onboarding phase.
  • Engage closely with client Sustainability Teams to gain insights into ESG topics.
  1. Collaboration with Customer Success Team
  • Work directly with the Head of Customer Success on account management to ensure successful client relationships.
  • Partner with fellow customer success data analysts to enhance client onboarding and data organization.
  • Ensure the team meets all deadlines for client onboarding.
  • Maintain high standards of transparency and accuracy throughout the onboarding process.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors on ESG Flo's platforms with clients.
  1. Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
  • Provide customer feedback to the Product team, assist in feature prioritization, and act as a liaison between clients and the Product team.
  • Report bugs and issues to the engineering team for resolution.
  • Manage customer bug tickets and communicate updates to clients based on feedback from the engineering team.
  1. Data Analytics and Support for Current Clients
  • Collaborate with clients to tackle key challenges in data collection and standardization.
  • Utilize Excel and other data analysis tools to assist clients in identifying critical changes to historical data or current calculations that could impact reported figures.
  • Support clients with additional data analytics, such as carbon footprint calculations.
  1. Additional Opportunities: Ad Hoc Sustainability Consulting
  • This role may include ad hoc consulting tasks, such as assisting clients with small projects like water footprint analysis or target tracking.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Excel, data organization, and project management.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Working knowledge of sustainability and the ESG sector.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degrees in environmental science or sustainability, or relevant experience in a similar role/industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the software startup ecosystem is a plus.

This position includes a 90-day evaluation period during which you will work with the team to define your objectives. Your performance will be assessed based on these objectives at the end of the evaluation period.
