Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Showroom and Account Executive to join our team at Sanderson Design Group plc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and promoting our luxury interior brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Showroom Management
    • Maintain a high level of presentation and organization of our showrooms at all times.
    • Ensure all brands are fully represented and promoted to an excellent standard.
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our brands, products, and services.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on our products and services.
    • Upsell and cross-sell our products and services to customers.
  • Account Management
    • Implement sales strategies to maximize sales and profitability with existing customers.
    • Provide sampling and patterning services to customers as required.
    • Work closely with Business Development Managers to identify new sales opportunities.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to a portfolio of customer accounts.
    • Manage customer relationships and communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    • Provide market research and feedback to management to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE A-C level as a minimum and/or equivalent.
  • Ideal qualifications include BSc/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field and/or equivalent.
  • Formal sales training is a strong advantage but not essential.
  • Passion for luxury interior design and knowledge of the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented individual with a positive outlook.
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure, efficiently and accurately.
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to present, influence, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
