Position Summary

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to become part of our team.

In this role, you will deliver 1st and 2nd line support as a member of our IT Service Desk, while also overseeing our systems, software, and infrastructure to ensure a professional and efficient service. You will assist both onsite personnel and remote users through remote access tools and provide initial support for client-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1st and 2nd line support and escalating issues to 3rd line support when necessary, collaborating effectively within the Service Desk team.
  • Managing incoming requests through the ticketing system, categorizing and logging issues appropriately, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and completing tickets within the designated timeframe.
  • Proactively troubleshooting problems to provide resolutions for end users.
  • Exhibiting exceptional customer service skills while assisting users in a professional and approachable manner, demonstrating empathy towards user concerns.
  • Supporting IT services across the organization and multiple remote worker locations.
  • Assisting the broader IT & Change team with ongoing IT initiatives and projects.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A foundational knowledge of technology, including Windows 10, Citrix/VDI, Microsoft O365, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • An understanding of key components of IT infrastructure, such as networking, telephony, operating systems, application servers, firewalls, and mobile devices.
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk roles is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, with a talent for building rapport and understanding end user needs.
  • The capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively, adhering to time and resource constraints.
