Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users and devices
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Manage and resolve IT incidents and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to recurring issues
  • Provide general technical support, including physical installation, configuration, and support of associated equipment
  • Install, assemble, and configure PCs, mobile hardware, and peripherals to maximize performance
  • Record and track all systems and equipment to ensure they can be located and accounted for
  • Provide effective problem-solving and troubleshooting to all employees through a centralized helpdesk
  • Maintain and build inter-departmental relationships at all levels
  • Ensure all IT activities are carried out in accordance with government legislation, company policy, and procedures
  • Comply with GDPR regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an IT Support Specialist or equivalent role
  • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
  • Experience with hardware setup and installation, including laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, etc.
  • Experience with assisting IT projects through planning, coordination, and implementation
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to gain trust from various levels of the business
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, basic networking skills, and experience working with HP hardware
  • Experience working with Samsung and Android mobile operating systems
