Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals? Dove Adolescent Services is seeking dedicated Youth Care Support Specialists to join our dynamic team.

As a member of our team, you will assist in delivering tailored residential care solutions for children and adolescents.

To fulfill our aspirations for the young individuals in our care, we recognize the importance of a committed team that shares our vision - to empower children to pursue their dreams and achieve their utmost potential.

We prioritize the ongoing professional growth of our staff - many of our Operations Directors and Home Managers began their careers at Dove as Youth Care Support Specialists and advanced through the ranks.

Your role as a Youth Care Support Specialist will not be confined to our Residential Children's Homes... engaging in activities such as exploring scenic trails, enjoying the latest movies, or experiencing thrilling adventures at amusement parks are all part of the job, tailored to the interests of the young people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young individuals.

- Encourage the development of individual interests and talents.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn; we provide comprehensive training to help you achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3.

What We Require:
- Experience in supporting vulnerable young individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong understanding and commitment to the role, including availability on weekends and bank holidays.
- Willingness to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible schedule.
- Active participation in activities, ensuring a nurturing environment for the young people.

What We Offer:
- Comprehensive training leading to a recognized qualification.
- £45 compensation for each sleep-in shift (average of 7-8 per month).
- Company pension plan.
- Employee discount program with savings at over 740 retailers, including major supermarkets and a variety of restaurants.
- Refer a Friend program with rewards of £500 for each successful referral.
- Childcare voucher scheme.
- Holiday pay.
- Meals provided.

As part of the Polaris Community, one of the largest providers of children's services, we work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for every child in our care. We are ambitious for our children, families, and staff, believing in their futures.

We take pride in our quality of service - 100% of our inspected services are rated as good or outstanding.

Whether you are an experienced Youth Care Support Specialist or seeking a new career path that allows you to positively influence young individuals in your community, we welcome your interest.

The organization is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, expecting all staff to share this commitment. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of the hiring process.
