Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Care Support Specialist to become a vital member of our team at the Respite Service. This service is designed to assist adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Physical Disabilities, aged 18 and above. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment that caters to the individual needs of those we serve.
Compensation: £12 per hour
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
As a Care Support Specialist, you will have the chance to exemplify our core values of compassion, customization, aspirational thinking, bravery, and preparedness. Your responsibilities will include delivering outstanding care and steadfast support to adults, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviors. Duties will encompass personal care, medication administration, and assistance with household tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience in a care environment is essential for this position. Upon joining Making Space, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and the opportunity to pursue professional qualifications as needed for your role.
