Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Assistant Group Housekeeping Manager at Darwin Escapes Head Office in Flintshire, North Wales.

This is a permanent position requiring full-time hours over 5 days, with flexibility to suit the needs of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations across the group, managing staff, and ensuring high standards are maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Group Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement housekeeping strategies
  • Managing staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing for cleans on check-in days
  • Controlling budgets and costs
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Ensuring housekeeping standards are in line with company expectations
  • Providing cover at various resorts as required
  • Assisting with administration duties

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar multi-site role
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook
