Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the dependability of machinery and equipment on site, carrying out planned maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor operation of equipment and collaborate with the plant engineering team to identify any reoccurring issues.
  2. Work with Plant Engineer to develop maintenance schedules, critical spares, OEM, SLA's, and service visits.
  3. Carry out installation work to include modifying existing equipment and installation of new equipment.
  4. Ensure that health & safety, quality and environmental policies are followed at all times.
  5. Communicate within the Engineering team to ensure a comprehensive shift handover.
  6. Assist team with implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.

Requirements:
  1. HNC engineering or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automated systems.
  3. Interpret engineering drawings.
  4. 3 years' experience within an engineering role.
  5. Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
