Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Flintshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the dependability of machinery and equipment on site, carrying out planned maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of planned maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical and mechanical systems.
  2. Monitor operation of equipment and collaborate with the plant engineering team to identify any reoccurring issues.
  3. Work with the plant engineer to develop maintenance schedules, critical spares, OEM, SLA's, and service visits.
  4. Ensure legal compliance.
  5. Carry out installation work, including modifying existing equipment and installing new equipment.
  6. Ensure that health & safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed at all times.
  7. Communicate within the engineering team to ensure a comprehensive shift handover.
  8. Assist the team with the implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.

Requirements:

  1. HNC engineering or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.
  3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  4. 3 years' experience within an engineering role.
  5. Ability to work alone or part of a team.
