Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Heavy Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Holywell, Flintshire. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, process machinery, and gearboxes.
  • Conduct PPM and TPM activities to maximize machine efficiencies and minimize downtime.
  • Work on medium to heavy engineering machinery, including conveyors and laminating machinery.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained engineer in mechanical engineering with multi-skilled engineering experience.
  • Understanding of PPM systems within manufacturing.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
