Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Holywell, Flintshire. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy engineering machinery
  • Work on hydraulics, process machinery, gearboxes, conveyors, laminating machinery, and general mechanical work
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and maximise machine efficiencies
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance issues

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained engineer in mechanical engineering
  • Multi-skilled engineering experience
  • Understanding of PPM systems within manufacturing
  • Time-served engineer with welding knowledge
