Salary: £55,000 to 80,000 per annum depending on experience

We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Tender Operations Manager to oversee and secure proposal opportunities. You will work closely with estimators, planners, procurement, technical services, and business development teams to formulate winning approaches. Your leadership will guarantee that our proposal submissions are thorough, competitive, and successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and energize the proposal team to attain successful results for each assigned proposal.
- Craft a cohesive proposal strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Manager and Sector Director.
- Supervise and engage in proposal commercial strategy: organize necessary internal meetings (Kick-off, Settlement, etc.) and manage the proposal timeline.
- Generate and manage CRC documentation and ensure actions from meetings are executed.
- Engage with clients, joint venture partners, and key supply chain members.
- Oversee the contributions of designers and manage their input to achieve optimal solutions.
- Coordinate and participate in proposal and post-proposal meetings/interviews with clients.
- Provide proposal feedback and manage the transition to the project delivery team for successful proposals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the UK construction market and relevant legislation, along with knowledge of Civil Infrastructure Engineering.
- Commercial awareness of various contract types.
- Familiarity with governance and procedural requirements for winning work.
- Maximize value, provide direction, and take ownership of your work and development.
- Design solutions, encourage continuous improvement, and balance risk with innovative thinking.
- Be proactive, maintain a positive attitude, and build effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
