We are seeking a Senior Tenders Manager to become a vital part of our team at Cygnet. This role has been established by our Executive Management Board to underscore its operational significance.

The Role:
As a senior member of the Tenders Team, you will collaborate with the Tenders Director to conduct research, interview subject-matter experts, collect evidence, and produce high-quality, compelling, bid-winning responses that surpass customer expectations in Health and Social Care. This critical position ensures that Cygnet remains a leading provider of mental health, learning disabilities, autism, and other services to the NHS and Local Authorities by securing new contracts and maintaining existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research, gather pertinent evidence, and create persuasive content in response to commissioner/buyer tender requirements.
- Collaborate with the Tenders Director to review drafted tender responses for compliance with commissioner requirements, including final editing before submission.
- Ensure tender responses and presentations effectively support the acquisition of block contracts, preferred provider contracts, and direct commissioner approaches.
- Scrutinize documents and identify insights that will aid in writing compliant and successful bids.
- Lead and manage tender response projects from submission through to contract signing and handover to the contracts team and Operations.
- Assist in identifying contract opportunities and analyze them to inform bid/no-bid decisions alongside the Tenders Director.
