We are seeking a Senior Tenders Manager to become an integral part of our team at Cygnet. This role has been established by our Executive Management Board to underscore its significance within our operations.
Founded in 1988, Cygnet has expanded its offerings to include a diverse array of health and social care services for individuals with mental health challenges, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism, and learning disabilities across the UK.
You will be joining us on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week at our designated site. We also encourage applications from individuals interested in hybrid working arrangements.
Your Role:
As a senior member of the Tenders Team, you will collaborate closely with the Tenders Director to conduct research, interview subject-matter experts, gather pertinent evidence, and develop high-quality, compelling responses that not only meet but exceed client expectations in the Health and Social Care sector. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring Cygnet remains a leading provider of mental health, learning disabilities, autism, and other services by securing new contracts and maintaining existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and compile relevant evidence to create persuasive content in response to commissioner tender requirements.
- Collaborate with the Tenders Director to review and ensure compliance of drafted tender responses, including final edits prior to submission.
- Develop and present effective presentations that support the acquisition of block contracts and preferred provider agreements.
- Analyze documents to extract insights that will enhance the quality of bids.
- Lead and manage the tender response process from initiation to submission, and facilitate the transition to the contracts team.
- Assist in identifying contract opportunities and contribute to the bid/no-bid decision-making process.
