Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Ornua Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into business operations and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Environmental Management Qualifications (IEMA/NEBOSH or Equivalent)
  • Previous experience as site EHS Lead or Manager
  • EHS Management System Development and Audit
  • Passionate about H&S
  • Excellent communicator
