About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team at Gilks (Nantwich) Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve our QHSE management systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and complete SHEQ reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure our systems are robust and effective
  • Develop and maintain risk assessment method statements (RAMS) to mitigate potential hazards
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on health and safety procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure our services meet their needs and expectations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, with a strong track record of audit leadership and compliance
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks
