About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Career Poster. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and implement effective health and safety management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on health and safety best practices and regulations.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health and Safety or similar qualification.
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
