Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents during nighttime hours. This will involve ensuring their safety and welfare, engaging in activities with them, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to communicate effectively with our out-of-hours services and respond to any emergencies that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents during nighttime hours
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child for the duration of the wake night shift
  • Engage in activities with residents to promote their physical, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities
  • Communicate effectively with our out-of-hours services and respond to emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the residential service
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
