Job Title: Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, social, and emotional care and development of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people during nighttime hours
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child during their stay
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
  • Participate in activities and bedtime routines that promote a sense of belonging and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and external services

Requirements:

  • Experience in childcare or a related field
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide emotional support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
