About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Partnerships Assistant to join our dynamic team at Fight for Sight. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and helping us achieve our mission to save sight and change lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new corporate partner and major donor opportunities to support our fundraising goals.
  • Provide administrative support to the high-value team, including data analysis, report writing, and event planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners and major donors, ensuring excellent stewardship and communication.
  • Work closely with the special events team to deliver successful fundraising events and stewardship opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support to the Director of Development, including data analysis and report writing.
  • Confidently present the key messages of Fight for Sight at events, via phone, and email.
  • Work closely with the high-value managers to grow relationships beyond their current support level.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong track record in fundraising, administration, and relationship development. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in a fast-paced administrative or prospect research role.
  • Strong use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a practical, can-do attitude.
  • Highly motivated and able to juggle a varied workload.
  • Personable, with excellent listening skills.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
