About the Role

As a Senior Analyst in our Strategy Division, you will play a critical role in inspiring courage and driving long-term profitable growth across the global market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quantitative techniques and qualitative research and analysis of macro-economy, non-life (re)insurance industry, Lloyd's competitors, and the Lloyd's market to highlight key business trends, emerging issues, and commercial opportunities for Lloyd's underwriters.
  • Assist with producing briefings and reports on market segments, regions, syndicates, managing agents, and brokers, including current and prospective market participants, their motivations, and group owners.
  • Respond to geographic and/or thematic data and intelligence requests from around the corporation, in compliance with data governance, confidentiality, and competition law restrictions.
  • Maintain our data toolkit of off-the-shelf reports and visualization dashboards (Qlik), assisting users to self-serve and consume intelligence to support their business activities.
Requirements
  • High level of Excel knowledge and data literacy for the storage, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data.
  • Ability to think strategically and logically, as well as communicate clearly and succinctly with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in similar intelligence gathering and analysis roles is advantageous.
