Mental Health Support Specialist

Part-time position with flexible shift patterns

We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to join our esteemed mental health charitable organization as Crisis Recovery Workers within our crisis recovery service.


As a vital member of our 24/7 support team, you will assist adults experiencing mental health crises, providing essential support during their recovery journey.


Your role will involve collaborating within a close-knit team, employing therapeutic intervention strategies tailored to the needs of our clients.


Working closely with clients, you will facilitate the development and implementation of personalized recovery plans that empower them and enhance their independence.


Additionally, you will engage with external organizations, including voluntary services, to ensure clients have access to a diverse range of activities and resources.


To qualify for this fulfilling position, you should possess the following:

  • A solid understanding of mental health challenges
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a social care environment, preferably with a focus on mental health
  • Flexibility to accommodate varied shift patterns, including sleep-ins and waking nights
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with a creative, empathetic, and adaptable approach

Having a DBS on the update service and a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle is preferred.
